The piper is John Patterson, DGPiper, and member of St John Kilwinning 662. The installation was prior to ANZAC Day at The Wellesley Masonic Centre Wellington. Scottish lodges love to assist in anyway possible our local cousins. Bro John Patterson leads the Precession.

Attached are a couple of photos from the “empty chair” ceremony that has been performed by Gisborne based lodges for a number of years just before ANZAC Day to commemorate those who have died in or as a result of war. It is hosted by Turanganui 1480 EC Lodge, which shares the Childers Road lodge rooms with Lodge Montrose 722. Last night at Lodge Ponsonby 708SC we hosted the Travelling Gavel challenge. Eden Lodge 1530 EC successfully challenged with 8 visitors including WBro Kenny Palisoc. It should be noted: That the Eden Lodge donated the sign in desk, used at The Scottish Masonic Centre, in 2023 The next meeting of the Eden Lodge 1530 EC is the 24 th of March.
